Launch Season in the Hollow / Closing reflection
The Hollow Lives On
The end of a season. Not the end of the story.

There is something bittersweet about watching a season come to an end.
For months, Horseman Rising was more than a book. It was an idea that grew into a celebration, a collection of experiences, and a community of people who helped bring a legend to life in ways I could never have imagined when I first began writing.
There were books carried into historic places, stories shared with strangers who became readers, music filling rooms, laughter, unexpected friendships, and moments when I stood back and wondered how something that had once existed only in my imagination had become so wonderfully real.
There were also long nights, impossible schedules, last-minute changes, lessons learned, and more than a few moments of wondering what on earth I'd gotten myself into.
And I wouldn't trade any of it.
What began as my own reimagining of a familiar legend became something that reached beyond the pages. It brought people together, opened doors, and reminded me that stories have a remarkable way of growing when we're willing to share them.
To everyone who attended an event, purchased a book, shared a post, donated a gift, offered a helping hand, opened their doors, or simply believed in what I was trying to create: thank you.
You became part of this story, too.
Although the launch celebrations have ended, the Hollow itself is only beginning to grow.
There are more stories waiting to be told, more secrets buried beneath the roots, and more journeys still to come. The music will continue to carry echoes of the Hollow beyond its borders, and the world of Horseman Rising will keep expanding in ways I'm excited to share.
The events of autumn 2026 will always hold a special place in my heart. Not because everything went perfectly, but because they happened. Because people showed up. Because an idea became something tangible, something shared, something worth remembering.
And because endings, I've learned, are sometimes just another way of beginning.
The woods remember what the world has forgotten.
And the Hollow lives on.
